Annual Meeting of Members

As per the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, MROO holds an annual meeting of members each June at a Toronto airport hotel.

All Welcome – To attend, please register with the Administration Manager at admin@mroo.org.

MROO’s 2026 Annual Meeting of Members will take place as follows:

DATE: Tuesday, June 9th, 2026

TIME: 8:30 a.m.

LOCATION: Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre, 801 Dixon Road, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1J5

The following items of business will be dealt with:

  1. Receipt of the Agenda.

  1. Receipt of the minutes of the previous annual and any subsequent special meetings of members.

    1. Minutes of June 10, 2025, Annual Meeting of Members

    2. Errors or Omissions

  1. Confirmation, rejection, or amendment of any By-law made, amended, or repealed by the Board since the previous Annual Meeting of Members or Members’ meeting at which any By-law was considered.

  1. Resolution to Confirm an Amendment of By-law No. 7 re Term of Directors

  1. Consideration of the Annual Report of the Corporation.

  1. MROO 2025 Annual Report

  1. Consideration of the Financial Statements.

  1. Audited Financial Statements for the Year Ended December 31, 2025

  1. Report of the Auditor.                                                                              

  1. Reappointment or new appointment of the Auditor for the coming year.

Motion: Appointment of Auditors

  1. Election of Officers.

  1. Such other or special business as may be set out in the notice of meeting.

 

Note:

Any item of business brought forward by a member of the organization other than the Board of Directors must be provided to the Administration Manager, or to any Director, in writing, containing a proposed motion, no later than 10 days before the Annual Meeting of Members.
